Reliability Compliance Program Audit
A Reliability Compliance Audit performed by CGM Consulting prepares a registered entity for an actual compliance audit performed by NERC and/or it’s regional entity. CGM Consulting will present a registered entity with a notice of compliance audit that will include the scope of the audit to be performed. The reliability standards will include all those applicable to the registered functions of the entity, with a more intense focus on those standards outlined in the applicable regional Actively Monitored List. Once compliance program documentation and evidence files have been submitted to CGM Consulting an off-site review will take place and pre-audit data requests may be required. Once CGM Consulting is on-site, the audit will take place similar to that of the regional audit team, therefore participation by all personnel is strongly encouraged. During the audit, the consultants may ask to speak with those subject matter experts, which provides an opportunity for coaching to take place in order to prepare for an actual audit. Once, the audit has concluded, a closing presentation will be made to those involved in the audit, as well as, management personnel. After the audit, CGM Consulting will prepare a post-audit packet, that will include a detailed written audit report with recommendations for improvement (if applicable), and a copy of all completed RSAWs used during the actual audit.
